Starfall.com is an on-line reading site with activities for Pre-K and early readers. Some of the site is free, but newer sections require a paid subscription.

 

Learning.com is an on-line learning technology program for students and teachers that we use as part of our curriculum.

It requires a subscription service for students, but teachers can log on for free

SheppardSoftware.com is a free site for elementary students.

It includes games, articles, and activities in a variety of subject areas.

JanBrett.com is an author website for primary students including videos, games, and crafts.

 

Edheads.org is an award winning free online science and math site. Activities encourage higher order thinking. Topics include Simple Machines, Virtual Knee Surgery, and Stem Cell Heart Repair.

 

MoWillems.com is an author website that appeals to younger readers. The game link based on his Pigeon, Elephant, and Piggie characters is a particular favorite.

 

EnchantedLearning.com is an inexpensive subscription service which contains over 30,000 web pages of curriculum material and activities. Some of the pages may be accessed for free.

Sandiegozoo.org is a wonderful resource for animal projects. It includes videos, research material, and live webcams of zoo animals.

 

Historyglobe.com is a website that allows elementary students to rewrite the course of history by participating in this Jamestown Colony Adventure. 

 

Abcya.com is a free website that includes on-line math, literacy, and science activities for Kindergarten through Grade Five.
